Power supply cards

In order to maximally simplify the selection of the appropriate type of power supply cards for RTU systems, we have developed cards with a wide range of input values, both for DC and AC power supply. The letter C in the name of the card indicates the presence of a processor, which enables the measurement of the input voltage, and in the case of cards with a battery charger for backup power, the processor takes care of managing the charging process and monitoring the battery status.

An important parameter of power supplies is their performance. For systems with a chassis size of up to 10 slots, any power card can be used, for large systems with 16 slots, if AC power is needed, it is important to calculate the consumption of individual cards, and if it exceeds the power of the AC source, it is advisable to use a DC power card with a upstream external power supply AC/DC source.

In the case of small systems, a chassis with two or three slots can be used, which has the power supply directly integrated on the bus, which saves free space in the bus.
